Since starting life as Natal Creamery Ltd in 1898 and through to its current incarnation, Clover has understood what builds trust with South Africans.
To ensure a high standard of raw milk is used in its dairy products, Clover maintains agreements with specially selected farms. Every litre undergoes 55 quality checks before it is able to become Clover’s Fresh Milk.
Clover utilises bactofugation, an innovative process that spins the milk to separate and remove more bacteria than pasteurisation alone. Its milk is kept chilled below 4°C, from farm to store, and filled into packs in an ultra-clean environment. Consumers can enjoy Clover quality for even longer – up to 18 days after packing!
The Clover brand itself has stood the test of time, via attention to quality control, customer-driven innovation and an extensive distribution system. The brand’s uniquely South African heritage has enabled the brand to grow along with this beautiful country.
